Goose smashes through taxi windscreen to take a perch on the back seats

A goose smashed through the windscreen of a taxi in Nottinghamshire before taking a seat in the back. Radford Police officers were called to the incident after the goose got trapped in the taxi on Monday 30 September.

Police officers posted a picture of the goose sitting on the back seats of the black taxi surrounded by shattered glass. The goose was taken to a local vets, whilst the taxi driver was left to repair the damage caused. Radford Road Police said via Twitter: “When a colleague asked if a call had been received about a goose flying into a taxi over the radio, we had to see it to believe it. Goose was taken to the vets & unfortunately the taxi had to repair the damage. We think he may be trying to find his way to #goosefair #randomjob”
