Police appeal for help following taxi driver attempted robbery in Nottingham

Police Officers are appealing for witnesses, including students, who they believe may have seen an attempted robbery on a taxi driver in Nottingham. The incident happened at around 1am on 10 October on Colville Street, where a man attempted to rob a taxi driver.
The driver collected a man from Hayden Road and then threatened him with a bottle and tried to get him to hand over his money. The driver resisted and the man ran off towards Colville Terrace. No property was stolen and the driver suffered no injuries. Officers are appealing for anyone with information to call 101 quoting incident number 31 of 10 October 2019.
