Taxi driver punched repeatedly and robbed by masked knife wielding trio

Northamptonshire Police investigating the robbery of a taxi driver in Kettering are appealing for witnesses and information. The incident took place in Louisa Drive between 9.30pm and 9.45pm on Friday, 18 October, when the driver attended to collect a fare.

As he waited, three people with their faces masked approached his vehicle and opened the driver and passenger doors, before one of the people punched him in the face repeatedly. The driver was then threatened with a knife as the offenders demanded money, before they ran off with a money bag and the car key, which were later recovered nearby.
