A PHV driver was reported after Manchester traffic officers spotted car parked across zigzag lines

A Private Hire Vehicle driver has been reported in Wigan for parking violations after police spotted the vehicle parked over zigzag lines.


The incident reported by Greater Manchester Police (GMP) traffic officers took place on Darlington Street East, highlighting concerns over road safety and the following of traffic regulations.

Despite being confronted by police officers, the driver presented multiple excuses to justify the parking offence. However, authorities found none of the reasons valid.


A Greater Manchester Police (GMP) Traffic spokesperson said: “A GMP Motorcycle Unit officer came across this vehicle on Darlington Street East, Wigan. TOR issued.


“This driver had lots of excuses, none of which were exceptable.”
