Acorn Insurance launches nationwide campaign targeting taxi drivers

Acorn Insurance, the UK’s largest taxi insurance specialist, has launched a nationwide outdoor advertising campaign aimed at reinforcing its position within the taxi sector and increasing visibility among professional drivers.
The campaign follows the insurer’s brand refresh introduced in September 2025, which included updated branding across its website, digital portals, mobile app and policy documentation. The latest phase extends that rollout into physical advertising locations in areas where taxi drivers operate and live.
Acorn said the campaign is designed to better reflect its diverse customer base, with taxi drivers remaining central to its business strategy. The insurer provides annual and short-term public and private hire insurance policies through a dedicated taxi insurance team.
The company has specialised in taxi insurance for more than 40 years and says it currently insures more than 100,000 drivers nationwide. Acorn also highlighted its policy of recognising no claims bonus entitlement from the first year as part of its long-standing offering to drivers.
