Addison Lee are aiming to complete the integration of black taxi, private hire and its courier services into a ‘one-stop-shop’ by the first quarter of 2022.

Addison Lee finalised the purchase of the London operations of ComCab, City Fleet Networks and Flightlink International from the ComfortDelGro Corporation back in mid-July.

The deal made Addison Lee the capital’s largest private hire and taxi company as well as London’s largest same day courier business.

Established in 1974, ComCab is the longest standing black taxi fleet in the capital, operating around 2,500 iconic black taxis across London. A significant percentage of its operating fleet are low emission vehicles, helping reduce carbon emissions and creating a greener transport infrastructure.

Wesley Bishop, CCO of Addison Lee, said: “It has been five months since we completed the acquisition of ComCab, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for us and since that time, it has been my pleasure to see colleagues come together and embrace our united purpose of quality and safety.

“Our ongoing integration works will be completed in Q1 2022, affording both Addison Lee and ComCab customers the benefit of a one-stop-shop for Private Hire, Black Taxi and Courier services, and ensuring that we continue to meet the growing demand for premium services in a way that no-other London ground transport provider can.”
