Appeal for witnesses after 3 men seen using baseball bats to smash up a taxi in Sheffield

South Yorkshire Police are asking anyone who may have any information about an incident involving three men who were seen smashing up a taxi with baseball bats, to contact them with information.


The incident, which occurred on 3 August, took place on Vincent Road, Sheffield.

South Yorkshire Police said: “We received a number of reports around 3pm [3 August] of an incident on Vincent Road, Sheffield.

“It was reported that three men with baseball bats caused damage to a vehicle, believed to be a taxi parked on the road.

"They then left the area in a vehicle towards Abbeydale Road. “An investigation is in the early stages.

“Anybody with information should contact the police on 101.”
