Appeal issued to find injured missing man last seen getting out of a taxi in Greater Manchester

Greater Manchester Police have issued an appeal to help find a man from north Manchester with a head injury who has gone missing.


Gary, 41, from Miles Platting, was last seen getting out of a taxi on Pottery Lane in Gorton at around 6.40am on Sunday, 3 October, after leaving Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI) around ten minutes earlier.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police, said: "He has a head injury and it's important he goes back to hospital for treatment.


"Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for Gary and want to make sure he is safe and well.


"If anyone sees Gary please can you call an ambulance and notify police."

Gary is described as white, of slim build, around 6ft 2ins tall and has short brown hair.


Officers say he has visible injuries to his face.


He was last seen wearing a white cap, a black bomber jacket and blue jeans with black trainers.


Anyone who sees Gary is asked to call both police and an ambulance immediately.


Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call police on 0161 856 3501.
