Arrested drug driver smashes into back of London black taxi right in front of three police officers

A drug driver smashed into the back of a black cab in London right in front of three police officers.

Met Police officers from the Taxi and Private Hire Team were present to witness the silver Honda collide with the black cab nearby London’s Northumberland Avenue.

Officers identified the driver as previously disqualified. The driver was arrested and the vehicle seized.

A Met Police Roads and Transport spokesperson said: “Disqualified drug driver? Best you don't take drugs, then crash in front of 3 police officers, near a marked police car - blue lights on. Officers from Taxi & Private Hire Team caught a drug driver after he crashed into a black taxi right in front of us.”
