Autocab expands taxi and private hire vehicle passenger experience with ember integration

Updated: Nov 8

Autocab, the leading taxi dispatch technology provider, has unveiled a new partnership with ember, aimed at upgrading the passenger experience for taxi firms worldwide.

By integrating ember into its Connect Partner Program, Autocab is set to offer a fresh, technology-driven journey experience for riders.

ember’s console, installed in the back of taxis, delivers a streamlined and user-friendly interface. This console allows passengers to engage with curated content, including local city guides, events, restaurant recommendations, and special offers. Additionally, the system supports easy payment options, enabling passengers to tip, tap, and pay seamlessly. This feature aims to enhance service quality, adding value for both passengers and operators.

Autocab describes this partnership as a strategic step in its commitment to enhancing its network of partners through the Connect Partner Program. The addition of ember signals Autocab’s focus on efficient, innovative technology for the taxi and private hire industry, offering operators advanced tools to elevate customer service.

Safa Alkateb, CEO of Autocab, said: “We’re constantly evolving our offering to taxi operators to ensure we enable them to provide the best possible service to their customers. Welcoming ember onto the program will bolster our already-strong portfolio of products, helping operators further streamline operations and deliver even better service.”

Marc Tanguay, Chief Executive of ember, said: “We’re proud to join the Autocab family, giving businesses access to our cutting-edge solution that will drive efficiencies and improve quality of service.

“We look forward to providing their network with innovative payment tools to ensure fast, secure, and easy transactions.”
