Barrow cabbie presented with Parliamentary Taxi and Private Hire Award

A taxi driver from the Barrow and Furness area was presented with the Parliamentary Taxi Award.

Sue Bragg, won the award for her services with Susan Bragg Airport Taxis, after being nominated by her customers for the Parliamentary Taxi and Private Hire Awards.

Sue was handed her award by Barrow and Furness MP Simon Fell.

Simon Fell MP said via social media: “It was lovely to meet my constituent Sue today in the Commons and present her with a well-deserved prize at the annual Parliamentary Taxi Awards.

“Local people overwhelmingly voted for Sue. As one said: If Heineken made taxi drivers, they would be called Sue Bragg!”
