Top taxi industry YouTube influencer Tom Hutley runs through why he thinks being a London taxi driver is quite possibly the ‘best job in the world’.
The popular YouTube taxi driver asks over 50,000 followers what other job gives unlimited overtime, and work patterns so flexible that you choose when you start and finish.
Other selling points linked to the role include breaking and holidaying whenever you wish and also the opportunity to drive a ‘company car’… that last one being the taxi!
Being a taxi driver is essentially a job for life whether that be full-time, part-time or something to fall back on.

Hutley’s YouTube channel has been a massive hit with viewers ever since it first launched in March 2020. The London black cab driver and qualified taxi guide completed the ‘Knowledge of London’ in 2017 after 3 years of studying. Four years into the job he now has a fast-growing channel on YouTube and has recently launched his own blog.
