BILKER: Police search for man who fails to pay ‘SUBSTANTIAL’ taxi fare

Police are searching for a man in Darlington who failed to pay a ‘substantial’ taxi fare.


Officers released an image of a man they wish to speak to. Police have also asked the public for help to identify the man pictured.

The alleged offence took place on Sunday 7 August and the man pictured is believed to live in the Yarm Road area.


Darlington Police said via social media: “Officers would like to speak to him in relation to failing to pay a substantial taxi fare on Sunday, August 7.

“The man is believed to reside in the Yarm Road, Darlington, area.


“Anybody with any information relating to his identity is asked to contact PC Rachael Wilde at rachael.wilde@durham.police.uk
