Ride-hailing company Bolt has recently announced the relocation of its Manchester office to a spacious 1,000 sq ft premises on Dickinson Street, situated in the city centre.

The move is aimed at reinforcing the company's commitment to delivering exceptional services to its customers while also providing a welcoming space for its drivers.

Bolt, which operates in 19 cities across the UK and currently boasts 100,000 drivers and 9 million passengers, intends to offer an array of driver-centred services at the new hub.

Drivers can visit the office to collect signage, return lost property, or make changes to their council documents. Additionally, they can seek assistance for various other reasons, including document submission, reactivation requests, car applications, payment queries, and resolving driver app-related questions.

To ensure convenience for drivers, the office will be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9.30am to 4.30pm, with a one-hour closure between 1.00pm and 2.00pm. Drivers can book appointments using an online platform. For drivers unable to visit the hub in person, Bolt also offers the option of remote video calls, providing a means to submit documents and receive assistance virtually.

Situated in central Manchester on Dickinson Street, just off Portland Street, the Clockwise managed space offers convenient accessibility for Bolt's drivers. The availability of nearby parking ensures hassle-free visits.

Clockwise's facilities include state-of-the-art meeting rooms for collaboration, phone booths for private calls and communal spaces, which played a significant role in Bolt's decision. The new space also offers communal areas, including Two Hands Café, and inviting breakout spaces for one-on-one meetings or non-confidential conversations.

Emily Dalton, Head of Operations (North UK) at Bolt, said: “As we continue to increase the amount of passengers and drivers registered with Bolt, as a company we needed a workspace to support this. Clockwise delivers all of the facilities and amenities we need to create a vibrant work atmosphere for our team members. We’re committed to providing an exceptional experience for our drivers and cultivating a dynamic work environment which taking our space in Clockwise now enables us to do.”

Alexandra Livesey, Chief Operating Officer of Clockwise, said: “We’re thrilled to see Bolt taking desks in our Manchester building, it’s a testament to the dynamic and collaborative environment we strive to foster at Clockwise. We are committed to providing a workspace that attracts innovative companies and facilitates growth. We’re pleased to welcome Bolt, knowing that their presence will inspire further synergies and opportunities for businesses.”
