A total of 21 taxi and private hire vehicles were found to be operating with defects during a single night of enforcement in Cardiff.

A joint operation by DVSA Enforcement, South Wales Police and Cardiff Council took place on Friday 10 December.

Licensing officers, along with police officers, performed roadside checks in the city, making sure high standards are kept by licensed drivers.

Taking to social media to highlight what was found, DVSA Enforcement wrote @DVSAEnforcement: "partnership working with SWP Roads & Cardiff Council licensing officers last night.
