Cab Direct has announced the opening of a new taxi showroom in Coventry, aimed at providing taxi operators with direct access to a range of specialist vehicles including wheelchair-accessible models and purpose-adapted taxis.
The new showroom, located on London Road in Coventry, will officially open during a two-day event scheduled for 18 and 19 March. According to Cab Direct, the site will display both new and used vehicles tailored to the needs of taxi and private hire drivers.
Among the vehicles on show will be the Ford MAXiCab, the Toyota Corolla, and a range of wheelchair-accessible vehicles developed and engineered in-house by Cab Direct. The company said the facility will also feature other adapted vehicles commonly used within the taxi and private hire sector.
The Coventry location will act as a dedicated space for drivers and fleet operators to view vehicles in person and discuss specifications with company representatives. Cab Direct confirmed that staff will be available throughout the opening event to provide information on vehicle configurations and operational suitability.

In a statement announcing the launch, Cab Direct said: “Members of our team will be available throughout the event to provide information, discuss vehicle specifications, and help visitors explore the options that best meet their operational needs.”
The showroom opening reflects continued demand for specialist vehicles within the UK taxi and private hire sector, particularly wheelchair-accessible vehicles and multi-seat taxis designed for local authority licensing requirements.
Drivers and fleet owners attending the event will be able to explore vehicle options and speak directly with Cab Direct representatives about specifications and fleet requirements during the opening hours of 10am to 4pm across both days.
