CMAC Group has completed the acquisition of minicabit after signing an asset purchase agreement on 3 December 2025, bringing the UK-based online comparison platform into its transport aggregation business.
The deal integrates minicabit’s booking comparison capability and transport network into CMAC Group’s existing aggregation platform, strengthening its position across consumer and business travel markets. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 2007, CMAC Group operates as a transport and accommodation aggregator, serving airlines, rail operators, corporates and breakdown providers. The group partners with more than 3,000 private hire vehicle and taxi operators across the UK, positioning scale and payment reliability as core elements of its supplier proposition.
Minicabit, which operates an online marketplace comparing private hire and taxi services, will now sit within CMAC Group’s portfolio of specialist brands. These include Suntransfers.com, CoachHireComparison.co.uk and CheckedSafe, which collectively support the group’s aggregation, assurance and service delivery model across B2B and consumer segments.
Minicabit’s comparison technology and operator network are being folded into CMAC Group following a December asset purchase agreement.
The addition of minicabit further broadens CMAC’s technology-led platform, allowing it to aggregate and manage transport services at greater scale while maintaining its existing supplier payment and compliance frameworks.
CMAC Group stated that its focus remains on expanding its aggregation capability and managing complex transport requirements, including disruption planning and multi-modal coordination, across the UK, Europe and other international markets.
Peter Slater, CEO CMAC, said: “I am delighted minicabit is now part of CMAC to enhance our ability to provide aggregated services to customers and clients. Our model of connecting suppliers with customers continues, expanding our offerings in the UK, EU & Worldwide.”
Amer Hasan, Founder/CEO of minicabit, said: “I’m excited that after over a decade since we launched, minicabit is now a part of CMAC Group, unlocking more opportunities for our platform, suppliers, travel partners and customers.”
