Crash leaves van ON TOP of minicab causing delays in East London

A collision left a commercial van ON TOP of a London private hire vehicle, forcing road closures and delays in East London.
The crash happened in the early hours of Saturday 11 September on Cassland Road, Hackney.
In an image capturing the scene, the back end of a commercial van can be seen on top of a white Toyota Prius licensed as a minicab by Transport for London (TfL).
It is unclear how the van managed to lodge itself on top of the vehicle. The speed limit is 20mph on this stretch of road.
According to traffic reports the road is currently closed. David Colley, a witness at the scene who captured the image, added that there were seven London buses behind the incident unable to pass.
