Derbyshire Police ask for public’s help to identify man after a taxi driver threatened

Police officers in Derbyshire are asking for the public’s help to identify a man after a taxi driver was threatened.


The incident occurred just after midnight on 15 March on the M1. The taxi driver had picked up a man and woman in Castle Donington and while driving on the M1 the man had become aggressive. After pulling over, the couple left in another car that arrived at the layby the driver had pulled into.

Officers say the victim was threatened in the incident, but was not physically hurt.


Derbyshire Police oficers want to speak to the man pictured in the image shared by the police force in connection with the incident.
