Driver of stolen London licensed private hire vehicle caught carrying a large bag of drugs

A man caught driving a stolen London licensed private hire vehicle has been arrested in Essex by traffic officers.
The unnamed man also failed a drugs test and was found to be carrying a large bag of drugs.
The offences were highlighted by Chris Rattus, a traffic officer for Essex Police. Mr Rattus said: "Stopped this private hire vehicle and found it was carrying more than just passengers.
"Drivers licence was revoked, he failed a drug test and car turns out to be stolen."
He went on to add: "Burglars and drug dealers sometimes use them in an attempt to avoid detection. Not really stolen for resale."
