Drug driving Liverpool private hire driver caught for a second time within hours by Traffic Police

A Liverpool City Council licensed private hire driver has been caught drug driving hours after being caught committing the same offence for a first time.
On the second occasion, the driver was not only caught drug driving, he was also caught supplying Class A drugs.
Merseyside Roads Policing Unit @MerPolTraffic, said: "Unbelievable! Same drug drive PHV we featured a few hours ago! Back again for drug drive and supply of Class A and Cultivation of drugs! Car seized!"
The repeat offender has caused a stir on social media, with Twitter users questioning why the vehicle wasn't taken away from the PHV driver after the first occasion, with one asking: "Couldn't the car have been seized 1st time?"
One user wrote: "He should get jail" and another commented: "Crush the car this time and remand the driver for court. Also report the cab office. If you do have that in your powers. Driving the public about under the influence of. Good catch."
