A man posing as a minicab driver has been reported for touting outside London Shoreditch's, Ye Old Axe - a lap dancing bar.
The man was caught by the Metropolitan Police Service Roads and Transport unit who were actively patrolling the notorious hotspot known for fake minicab touting.
The MPSRTPC used social media to highlight the incident, which occurred during the early hours of Saturday 1 February, to the public, which has sparked a flurry of responses.
One user has said: "You should visit there after 12 at night, the minicab touts are in a mob and very intimidating."
Another wrote: "Well done MPS. Some seriously aggressive touts ALWAYS outside this venue, looking to take people on, basically pimping. Not hard to spot when you're looking."
Minicab touting is illegal and can come with a hefty fine, along with suspensions of driving licences.
Only hackney carriage licensed taxi drivers are permitted to pick up passengers who have hailed them roadside.
Private hire drivers must have a job pre-booked through a licenced operator before they can pick up any passenger.
This driver is now likely to face a date with a judge to answer his offence.
