Fake private hire driver who raped lone female still on the UK’s Most Wanted List

A man who posed as a private hire driver in Glasgow to lure his victim into his vehicle before raping her, is still on the UK’s most wanted list.

Rezgar Zengana was convicted of raping a 25 year old female in Glasgow back in 2008 and remains on the Crimestoppers top 10 Most Wanted Criminals list.

Zengana posed as a private hire taxi driver and collected his victim and drove her to an unknown private dwelling where he raped her. ZENGANA was convicted of rape at the High Court in Glasgow on 6 June 2008. He failed to appear for sentencing on 4 July 2008 and remains at large.

Zengana is known to use various aliases including Abdul QADAR, Rusheer AHMED, Syed WAQ and Ali KERMIN.

Zengana is described as being of Middle Eastern appearance, approximately 6 foot tall and has brown eyes.

Officers believe he could now be in either the Netherlands or Turkey.
