Footage appears to show private hire driver fly tipping large mattress in Birmingham
A private hire driver has been recorded appearing to dump a large bed mattress on the side of the road in Birmingham.
The incident was filmed by a member of the public from the opposite side of the road and posted on Twitter by Bromford and Hodge Hill Councillor, Majid Mahmood.
The man can be seen exiting a car, with an A2B Radio Cars private hire sticker on the side door, alongside a woman who exits the vehicle from the passenger side.
The man can then be seen dragging what appears to be a mattress from the back of the car and dumping it along the pavement. Both the driver and woman then re-enter the car.
Cllr Mahmood wrote: "Not going to sit back whilst a minority are dumping on our streets in Bromford and Hodge Hill.
"Have action with Birmingham City Council and A2B Radio Cars will investigate.
"Thank you to the residents who have provided the footage, and spend hours keeping our streets clean."
