Gett provides taxis for Cancer Research UK’s Shine Night Walk for the fifth year running

Gett, a UK black cab app, supported the Shine Night Walk against cancer in their fifth year as one of the event’s official taxi providers.

Shine Night Walk is an illuminated night-time walk passing some of the city's famous landmarks. 

Londoners participating in Cancer Research UK’s night-time walking marathon on 24 September were able to book cabs home throughout the night, by visiting the Gett travel desk at the venue.

Holly Garner, Senior People Partner at Gett, said: "As London’s brave fundraisers spend up to 14 hours walking the streets to complete their 10k, half marathon, and even full marathon walking challenges this Saturday, the last thing they’ll want is a tiring journey home.

“We’re very proud to be supporting the Shine Night Walk for the fifth year in a row, to help participants get home safely once they’ve crossed that finish line.”
