Glasgow private hire driver accused of three separate sexual assaults on females


A Glasgow private hire car driver is facing accusations of three separate counts of sexual assault on three women.


The 41-year-old allegedly sexually assaulted his first victim near Glasgow School of Art, where he repeatedly tried to kiss her and held her by the body.

He then went on to allegedly sexually assault a female passenger in his private hire vehicle. On this occasion the accused ask for a kiss and when the woman refused, he stopped the vehicle and allegedly got into the back with the passenger, exposed himself and forced the victim’s hand onto him.

The man faces a third charge, this time surrounding an alleged incident that took place at his flat between 27/28 September.


A source close to TaxiPoint and the Glasgow Times has confirmed a hearing at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday 26 June was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.


The accused remains on bail and is set for a hearing to take place in August.
