GRAB A B4RGA1N: DVLA’s Personalised Registration live auction returns

DVLA’s Personalised Registration in person auction will return this Wednesday at the Oxford Belfry Hotel.
Taking place over three days at the Oxford Belfry Hotel, DVLA’s Personalised Registration auction is set to include 1,000 unique registrations that have never been sold or issued before.
Notable registrations such as 4 NHS, CHR 61S, V11 RGO and MA21 LYN will be auctioned, along with many more registrations which resemble distinctive dates and memorable names.
Starting prices at the auction for many registrations will begin at £200 and one registration, NXZ 890, is listed with a starting price of just £100.
Jody Davies, Head of DVLA Personalised Registrations, said: “We are really looking forward to welcoming customers to the return to our in-person auction.”
For those who can't make it to the auction there are still a number of ways to successfully register a bid. Here are the ways bidders can get involved:
Via the telephone: bidders can request a call from a DVLA representative who will bid on their behalf. The deadline for requesting a telephone bid is 10:00am on Friday 14th October.
The auction is also accessible online.
By leaving a maximum absentee bid with DVLA, the team will bid on the individual’s behalf without exceeding their maximum. Bidders can place an absentee bid up to an hour before the lot’s estimated start time.
Bids increase by a minimum of £50 when bidding is below £1,000, and by £100 when bidding is above £1,000.
If a lot receives no bids, it will be available to purchase at its starting price until 10:00am on Monday 24th October 2022 and can be purchased directly via dvlaauction.co.uk on a first come, first served basis.
DVLA’s Personalised Registration in person auction will take place from 9:00am (doors open at 8:30am) until approximately 5:30pm at the Oxford Belfry Hotel, OX9 2JW on 19th, 20th, and 21st October 2022. For more information and to register for the auction, click here.
