Hull man arrested for stealing taxi and assaulting a police officer during drunken rampage
A man is due to appear at Hull Magistrates' Court charged with seven offences from Saturday 19 September, after a taxi was reported stolen from Hessle High Road and multiple assaults reported later that day at an address on St Nicholas Avenue.
Liam Drydale, 31, of Woodheys Park, Hull, has been charged with robbery, aggravated burglary, grievous bodily harm, assaulting a police officer, aggravated vehicle taking and driving dangerously, driving under the influence and without insurance, and a further assault.
He was remanded into custody and due to appear before the court on Monday 21 September.
