A popular YouTube creator and London taxi driver gave an insight into how cabbies look for their next fare in the capital.

Tom Hutley, a cabbie with over 40,000 subscribers on the YouTube platform, released his latest video showing what a cabbies shift might look like.

During the video Hutley is seen plying-for-hire in several locations around the capital. The licensed taxi driver shared his thoughts on what he looks for when he is seeking his next passenger.

Hutley locates passengers on one-way systems and areas outside of central London during the clip. He also describes why taxi booking apps are important for drivers in the more suburban parts of the capital.

Hutley’s YouTube channel has been a massive hit with viewers ever since it first launched in March 2020. The London black cab driver and qualified taxi guide completed the ‘Knowledge of London’ in 2017 after 3 years of studying. Four years into the job he now has a fast-growing channel on YouTube and has recently launched his own blog.
