Salisbury Police have released an image of two people they would like to trace in relation to the offence of 'bilking'.

What is bilking? Under Section 3 of the Theft Act 1978, a person is guilty of an offence if they dishonestly make off without paying as required or expected and with intent to avoid payment of the amount due.

The alleged incident took place on 15 February during which a group of youths booked a taxi and then ran away without making payment for their journey.

The youths travelled from Wessex Raceway to Winchester Street, Salisbury.

Five youths were involved and are believed to be aged between 10 and 17.

Anyone with information should call 101 and quote crime reference number 54200016348.
