Having previously been held in London and Dubai, the Taxi & Ride-hailing Conference and Exhibition will be in Karlsruhe, Germany next month.

One of the biggest developments during the last five years, and a change that has affected the taxi sector more than most, has been the emergence of ride-hailing companies.

The sector get-together at Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre is the only event worldwide to focus on both the taxi and the ride-hailing business. It examines in great detail the challenges that will be faced by the sector in future and how these can be resolved.

Decision-makers from transport authorities, acknowledged taxi experts and sector leaders from all over the world are invited to share their knowledge and to interact with trade visitors.

In an independent conference, the event will facilitate discussion on aspects such as the use of artificial intelligence by taxi operators and the sustainable integration of these transport services into public transport systems as well as regulatory aspects.

In addition to the panel discussions and presentations, exhibitors will be demonstrating special taxi and ride-hailing solutions within the IT-TRANS exhibition.

There will also be two presentation slots in the Market Update Forums there. An estimated 150 international experts are expected to attend the conference and exhibition, where the focus will be on this cornerstone of urban mobility.
