Ireland’s National Transport Authority launches nationwide taxi driver recruitment campaign

Ireland’s National Transport Authority (NTA) have launched a new nationwide taxi-driver recruitment campaign.

The campaign was officially launched last week, and will run for a period of three weeks, with national and regional radio ads being broadcast, in addition to social media and digital radio advertising.

Included in the campaign are some of the perks of the job including: the freedom to be your own boss, and the flexibility to choose your own working hours.

The campaign will also highlight the simple process to become a licensed taxi driver.

Interested parties simply need to pass the test, get Garda vetted, and get driving. The hashtag #TaxiDriver will be used to promote the campaign on social media, while the website www.taxidriver.ie will be posted on social and used in all broadcast ads.
