Liverpool taxi enforcement operation prompts warning to motorists parking on taxi ranks
Liverpool City Council (LCC) warned motorists NOT to park on working taxi ranks as tickets were issued during a night of enforcement.
LCC Licensing shared images of two vehicles parked on a central Liverpool City Centre rank sporting Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) on their windscreens.
Enforcement officers worked alongside Merseyside Police on Friday night conducting inspections on licensed vehicles and other enforcement issues.
A LCC Licensing spokesperson said: “Tickets issued for unauthorised vehicles parked on taxi rank Victoria Street, only hackney carriages are allowed to wait on a taxi rank.”
