London electric taxi firm Sherbet picks up National Sustainability Award

Electric taxi firm Sherbet picked up their latest award this week winning Low Carbon Transport Initiative of the Year at the National Sustainability Awards 2022.


The second annual National Sustainability Awards was held at London’s Waldorf Hotel on Thursday 6 October. Judges were looking for unique stories of innovation and ‘breadth of impact’ across all sectors that aided the delivery of a more sustainable future.

Sherbet the Electric Taxi Company, were shortlisted against other big names in the category, which included DPD UK and University of Birmingham.


Asher Moses, Sherbet CEO, said on social media: “We are very proud to share with everyone that Sherbet Electric Taxis won the Low Carbon Transport Initiative of the Year Award at the National Sustainability Awards.

“Not just me, but all my team here at Sherbet are so incredibly passionate about the iconic Black Taxi industry and modernising it to meet the Mayor’s strategy for cleaner air by going Electric.


“Sherbet is the largest operator of EV taxis in London and we are growing as we speak! We are proud to offer sustainable advertising for all our media clients and we are even more proud to be helping the roads of London be cleaner, greener and safer for all.
