A London licensed private hire vehicle has been recorded driving into a kerb, running a red light and making an illegal turn all within seconds of each other.

The footage was captured on the dashcam of a black taxi driver who said the incident occurred in Hertfordshire on 20 August at around 9pm.

The silver Toyota Prius can be seen approaching a set of traffic lights which are on red. Just inches from the stop sign, the car can be seen veering to the left and hitting the kerb.

Instead of stopping, the driver decided to continue driving through the red light and turning right; a move clearly stated as illegal by a road sign.

The private hire driver then carries on with his journey.

The remarkable footage has been shared across social media, with one person encouraging the owner of the footage to report the driver to the authorities.

Another poked fun at Transport for London's slogan "every journey matters", by writing "every journey doesn't matter".
