London licensed private hire driver caught driving just days after being disqualified by Judge

A London licensed private hire driver has been caught driving his white Toyota Prius minicab just days after being disqualified from driving by a Judge at court.

PC Nathan Bright from Stanway Roads Policing Unit, took to social media to share the astonishing arrest, saying: "The driver of this car was disqualified at court on the 26th of this month.

"Well they clearly had listened and adhered to the ruling... oh wait NO they didn't! Vehicle stopped, seized and driver will be facing another court date to explain himself and his nap decision making."

Although it is not clear why the driver was originally disqualified, the findings have raised concerns from the public about whether or not the man was trying to continue offering his services as a private hire driver.

One person wrote in response to the tweet: "As this is a @TfLTPH licensed vehicle, was the driver working at the time? If so do you know who the operator is? Will you be following up with @TfLTPH? This isn't just another disqualified driver, this is potentially a PH driver working without a licence & insurance."

As the initial driving ban didn't seem to hit home with this driver, we can only wonder what's next in store for this offender.
