A Transport for London (TfL) licensed private hire driver has been reported by officers from the Metropolitan Police Service after they were spotted watching a video while driving.

The incident occurred in the Havering area of London on the night of 28 July.

The incident was highlighted by the Mets Specials Unit, via their official Twitter account @MPSSpecials.

A spokesperson for the force said: "This vehicle has just been stopped by EA Taskforce in Havering, after the driver was observed watching a video on their phone while driving.

"They've now been reported for the offence."

A TfL private hire roundel can clearly be seen on the top left corner of the blue Toyota Prius' rear window.

All private hire vehicles licensed by the capital's taxi and private hire authority will have a roundel sticker on the front and rear window showing the vehicle's licensing details.
