London minicab driver reported to police after allegedly caught masturbating in broad daylight
A London private hire driver was allegedly caught masturbating in broad daylight by shocked residents during the COVID-19 lockdown.
The horrified onlooker, David Rodriguez, posted footage from Monday morning showing the driver of a black Toyota Prius minicab on social media. He also claimed the act was witnessed by neighbours which included a “young girl”.
Rodriguez (@Mugenc4) went on to warn users of the private hire firm Uber and included the operator in his tweet. It is however unclear who the private hire driver was working for when the footage was captured.
During the footage shared, which is too graphic to appear on TaxiPoint, a Transport for London roundel in the windscreen of the vehicle is visible.
Uber responded to Rodriguez saying: “We're happy to help here, David. If you send us your account information (mobile number and email address), along with more information, we'll look into this for you.”
Rodriguez added in a separate tweet that the police have been notified of the incident.
Both the Met Police and Transport for London have been approached by TaxiPoint to comment on the incident.
