London New Year's Eve traffic closures 2019

It's New Year's Eve and many people will be heading out in the capital to celebrate.

London will see many road and bridge closures due to huge numbers of party-goers and those who wish to watch the River Thames midnight fireworks.

Vehicle access will be restricted from early afternoon until around 6:00am on New Year's Day. Roads will be closed between Oxford Street in the north to Lambeth Bridge in the south, and Blackfriars Bridge in the east to Vauxhall Bridge in the west.

Some roads in central London will stay closed for the London New Year’s Day Parade.
