London Taxi Drivers Charity for Children runs school children down to wildlife park adventure

The London Taxi Drivers Charity for Children (LTCFC) completed their annual children's trip for children with special needs and disabilities from seven schools in the East End of London to the Paradise Wildlife Park in Broxbourne.


58 taxis, 150 children and 68 carers took up the opportunity for a day out leaving from the Asda store on the Isle of Dogs for a great day seeing all the animals that a zoo can provide plus a wonderful dinosaur walk around area.

A spokesperson from LTCFC said: “The feedback from the schools And children have been phenomenal with everybody Having a fabulous day with children saying it had been the best day ever with some teachers moved to tears saying the experience for the children is something that would stay with them for the rest of their lives.

“The London Taxi Drivers Charity for Children would like to say a big thank you to all the drivers that volunteered their time to provide the children with a day out that they will remember plus a thank you to the Asda Isle of Dogs for the use of the facilities, and a big thank you to the Worshipful Company of Tin Plate Workers for sponsoring the day.”
