The Licensed Private Hire Car Association (LPHCA) has confirmed the return of its annual AGM & Roadshow, set to take place on Thursday 18 September 2025 at the London Heathrow Marriott Hotel.
This year’s event will once again bring together key stakeholders from the taxi and private hire vehicle (PHV) sector. A wide range of exhibitors, including well-known product suppliers and industry experts, have already signed up. Several local licensing authorities and trade bodies are also expected to attend.
The 2025 Roadshow will continue its traditional format, with keynote presentations and industry panel discussions held throughout the day. Topics on the agenda include proposals to streamline and improve the medical requirement process, tackling the cost of drop-off charges and tolls, and whether CCTV should be made mandatory in licensed vehicles.
Ongoing delays to criminal record and medical checks, new tax rules, digital reporting, and counter terrorism measures will also be discussed. One of the key subjects expected to draw attention is the issue of out-of-area licensing, a long-standing concern among operators and licensing authorities.
In addition to the public sessions, the LPHCA AGM will be held privately for members and commercial partners in the afternoon. The meeting will provide updates on current industry matters and how regulatory and legislative changes may affect operators and drivers.
Attendees will benefit from free parking, complimentary refreshments and access to a range of exhibitors across the venue.
