Man released after alleged firearm incident involving taxi driver in Dungannon

A man arrested in Dungannon following reports of a firearm being pointed at a taxi driver has been released after police questioning.
The 48-year-old was detained earlier today after the incident, which took place in the Market Square area. However, extensive searches in the vicinity failed to uncover any evidence of a weapon.
With the police cordon now lifted, authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant. Anyone who encounters suspicious items or objects that could be a firearm is asked to contact the police immediately.
