Motorist allegedly crashed into cab on taxi rank injuring female cabbie following ‘disagreement’

Police in Wiltshere are looking for witnesses after a motorist allegedly crashed into a taxi on Amesbury taxi rank after a ‘disagreement’.

The incident occurred on 17 January in Salisbury Street at around 1.40pm and left the female cabbie sustaining injuries.

According to sources, a disagreement occurred which prompted a male driver to reportedly rev his car before colliding with the female cabbie.


The victim sustained "reddening to her side".

The incident is now being investigated by Wiltshire Police. Witnesses are urged to call 101 and quote crime reference number 54230005726.
