London Taxi PR (LTPR) has announced a two-month double promotional campaign with leading international British airline carrier, Virgin Atlantic.
The campaign will see London Taxi PR have a full-page advertisement in the Airline’s in-flight magazine, Vera, together with a 30-second commercial which will be aired on Virgin’s Clubhouse global TV network.
The Vera luxury lifestyle magazine has a reach of up to 650,000 affluent, engaged customers, a vast majority of which travel both in and out of Heathrow Airport and will also tour or take trips in and around London.
The London Taxi PR advertisement, ‘Take a Ride in London’s Pride’, will run in the January edition of the Vera magazine, whilst the ‘Hail it!’ 30 second commercial will be screened in the Virgin Atlantic clubhouses on their TV channel throughout February.
The Clubhouses have six international locations, with bases at Heathrow, Boston, New York, San Francisco and Washington DC in the USA, as well as Johannesburg in South Africa. They are available to Virgin Atlantic’s Upper-Class passengers before their flights.

“The fact that its across a two-month period effectively expands the message and gives us two sources of advertising promotion to their customer base, which could potentially lead to further promotional possibilities between ourselves.”
The 30 second commercial was filmed close to London’s Tower Bridge and features a female London Taxi driver along with leading entrepreneur, philanthropist, political figure and regular user and supporter of London Taxis, Ms Farah London, and was filmed by new up and coming filmmaker Antonio Lewis.
It highlights the safe, respected and knowledgeable reputation of London Taxis, together with the ease of being able to hail them direct from the street, as well as the provision of a door-to-door service.
This latest announcement follows London Taxi PR’s successful Knowledge promotional campaign towards the end of last year, and subsequent newspaper advertorials and promotions which has undertaken this year to positively promote the profession and the safety and accessibility of using Licensed London Taxis to the general public.
Since their formation, London Taxi PR has undertaken a series of targeted media campaigns, which are being used to promote the benefits, advantages, and safety of using the iconic licensed London Taxi service to a wide audience.
All the campaigns and publicity that has so far been generated by the company has been funded by fellow London Taxi drivers and businesses within the profession, many of whom have signed up to donate to the cause on a monthly basis, indicating how passionate they all are about their industry and the cause.
