A cab firm in Northumberland are helping provide shelter for the homeless over the festive period.
Thanks to the team at Bounds Taxi's, homeless people in Northampton are once again able to wake up in hotel accommodation this Christmas and Boxing Day.
David Wright, Director of Bounds Taxi, said: "It has been an incredibly challenging year for everyone, but we cannot forget the plight of the homeless. It has now become part of our yearly Christmas to recognise and to help the homeless of Northampton.
“We value our friendship with Northampton Hope Centre and wish everyone involved a very happy Christmas."
Thanks to this wonderful offer, accommodation will be provided from Christmas eve through to Boxing Day and all the homeless will then be treated to Christmas dinner, a Boxing Day meal, gifts and live music at the Support Hub in Oasis House.
Robin Burgess, Hope Centre Chief Executive, said: “We are delighted that Bounds have offered this generous gift to Northampton’s homeless once again. We will now be able to complement our Christmas service with overnight accommodation for those who are on the street."
