Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing for information after ‘exhausting all other options’ to trace an offender who made a racist comment to a taxi driver Plymouth.

In the early hours of Sunday 9 February, on Pike Road, Efford, Plymouth, a taxi driver was racially abused by a man who then threw the driver’s hat at him.

Police in the south-west have been investigating the incident over the last few months and are now appealing to the public for help.

Officers would particularly like to speak to the man pictured because he may have vital information which could assist their enquiries.

Police are urging anyone who knows the identity of the man, or has any other information which could assist their investigation, to phone 101 or email 101@dc.police.uk quoting crime reference number, CR/011895/20.
