Police appeal for witnesses after fatal collision along newly designed Euston Road

Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal collision in Camden.
Emergency services were called at approximately 19:52hrs on Tuesday, 28 July to Euston Road, Camden junction with Pancras Road to reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
Officers and London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended the scene.
The pedestrian, a man - thought to be in his 30s - was found at the scene with severe injuries and was taken by LAS to an east London hospital.
Despite the efforts of the emergency workers to save him, he died in hospital a short time later.
Officers believe they have identified the victim and are working to inform his next of kin.
The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and is assisting detectives with their enquiries.
No arrests have been made at this time.
Detectives from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
