Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal crash involving a taxi and a van in Glasgow.
The incident happened at around 5.25pm on Tuesday 25 March on London Road, near the junction with Tobago Street. A white Citroen Berlingo van and a black Mercedes-Benz Vito taxi were involved.
A 79-year-old woman who was a passenger in the taxi was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary. She died in hospital four days later on Saturday 29 March.
Road policing officers say enquiries are ongoing to understand the full circumstances of the collision.
Sergeant Jim Dewar confirmed that officers have already reviewed CCTV and taken witness statements. He is asking anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam footage from the area to come forward.
Information can be given by calling Police Scotland on 101 and quoting reference 2708 of 25 March.
Sergeant Jim Dewar said: “My thoughts are with the family and friends of the woman who died at this very difficult time.
“We’ve been carrying out extensive enquiries and, while we’ve already gathered CCTV and witness statements, I’m appealing for anyone else who saw what happened or has dash-cam footage to come forward.”
