Police arrest suspect following taxi driver assault in Kings Heath

A 37-year-old man has been arrested following an alleged assault on a taxi driver in Kings Heath, West Midlands Police have confirmed.


The incident occurred on 23 November at approximately 4.15pm on Kings Heath High Street. The victim, a man in his 80s, suffered significant facial injuries and was treated at the scene.

Following an investigation, officers detained the suspect on Sunday. He has since been released on bail under strict conditions as enquiries continue.
