Arrests have been made following two reported robberies in Bridlington this week, one of which saw a taxi driver robbed of £600.

The first robbery took place at around 3.30pm on Sunday 8 May, when police officers were called to reports of a robbery at a shop on Lansdowne Road.

The second occurred at around 10:35pm on the following day, when a taxi driver was allegedly threatened with a knife and robbed of around £600 in cash.

Humberside Police have since confirmed that a man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery in connection with both reports.
